Robinsons, The Queens Head and The Brown Cow, Lake District

We are delighted to have secured Planning Approval and Listed Building Consent for both Queens ead, Hawkad and The Brown Cow in the picturesque town of Hawkshead in the Lake District.

Both these neighbouring buildings are owned and operated by our client, the northwest brewery Frederic Robinsons Ltd. Through careful and sensitive re-planning of these historic buildings we have increased the number of letting bedrooms and gained approval for a small extension, alongside an interior refresh of both premises.

The Brown Cow refurbishment includes boutique-style letting bedrooms, all with a new country-charm feel that will sit perfectly alongside the original exposed beams and features. We are looking forward to starting the renovation works.
