Allison Pike have recently obtained planning consent from Cheshire East for a 19 bedroom rooftop extension to the Best Western Pinewood on Wilmslow Hotel.
The new rooms will comprise 18 double and 1 accessible room all fitted out to the executive room standard of the hotel, with luxurious walk in showers, contemporary décor and bespoke case goods.
Ten of the rooms will have great views from the third floor over the hotel’s garden area and the others will have skyline views over Handforth. The scheme also involves aesthetic upgrades to the remaining part of the 1970’s wing, with consequential thermal upgrades to reduce the carbon footprint of the building. The new extension will increase the hotels’ room total to 89. Work commences onsite in October 2015 with a completion scheduled for Spring 2016.
