Allison Pike Partnership completed their latest project for Whitbread in October. The project, a four-storey, 44 bedroom annex at Premier Inn Stoke Hanley, was handled by Director, Paul Dunlop and project architect Deborah Greenwood. Medlock FRB were the principal contractors and the project managers were Monaghans.
The bedroom offering at Castle Green Hotel has been enhanced by the addition of a pair of new executive rooms, branded the Herdwick Suites. These modern stylish rooms feature amazing panoramic views towards Kendal Castle and the Lakeland Fells. The interior design is based around each room having a luxurious feel with super king bed, large seating area and a swivel large flatscreen TV. The scheme was initially inspired by the rural setting of the Herdwick sheep in their natural environment.
Allison Pike are proud to announce their contribution towards the Whitbread record number of hotel bedrooms completed in their recently ended financial year. A total of 5461 new Premier Inn bedrooms were added to the portfolio during the year 2015-16 and Allison Pike helped to deliver over 35% of this number through a mix of project types. Read more
A challenging “island” site in Manchester’s Northern Quarter comprised a group of old and partly derelict warehouse and former public housing buildings. The design involved the sympathetic conversion and linking of there elements to form a new public house and boutique hotel.
The Public House bar and dining areas are split across two floors, accessed from a classic “London Pub” corner entrance with ground and first floor serveries and a linking feature staircase. Playing on the heritage of the area and the building, the spaces have a warm earthy feel with an informal “lived-in” character. Above this there are fifteen bespoke bedrooms featured recently in the Guardian.
