A recent addition to Manchester’s city centre accommodation is the stylish new La Reserve Aparthotel located on the Ducie Street/Dale Street corner. Allison Pike provided interior design consultancy services for this project with schemes for the reception and public areas, as well as the apartments.
The third Limeyard restaurant and the first in the North, sited in the new White Rose Centre in Leeds, opened on Independence Day. Featuring a portico covering the external terrace, the unit is a double height space with back of house services located on a mezzanine to the rear. The main restaurant design includes a signature bar servery with metalwork supported overbar, seating booths breaking up the central space and timber banquettes around the perimeter. Sliding folding doors open out on to the external seating space. There are 120 covers internally and 28 externally with a mix of fixed and loose seating themed around the Californian branded restaurant. Read more
Allison Pike were briefed by Mitchells and Butlers PLC to oversee the construction of their first timber frame newbuild restaurant for the premium steakhouse brand, Miller & Carter. The construction method was selected for speed of build, environmental performance and buildability. Located in a suburban site in Berryfields adjacent to the Aylesbury Vale Parkway Station, the restaurant serves a new residential area of the town.
Hydes Brewery commissioned Allison Pike to refurbish their popular pub dining venue in Gee Cross, Hyde with a full interior design scheme of the ground floor public areas and garden.
The transformation took on board the best aspects of the converted mansion house and enhanced the internal flows and space usage with some subtle layout changes.
There is a new destination on Upper Street Islington: Allison Pike have just re-designed the Vineyard for Barracuda Group. After a quick but effective refurbishment the pub has a new stylish and fun atmosphere. Contemporary and edgy décor are used in various spaces divided up by the use of subtle frames and arches. Earthy natural materials expressing the history of the building are contrasted against modern fixtures and shiny fabrics. Read more
